Management Experience

Management

As a Senior Chinese teacher in Middle School & DP, I wrote the curriculum with ATL & ATT, which combined IGCSE, IB and CNC criteria. Leading weekly department meeting and PD to help all other team members to understand and practice international pedagogical ideas into daily teaching and class management. Need to cooperate with different department to ensure fulfill of subject projects, workshops, performance and presentations

Also as the founding teacher with a deep understanding and appreciation of Confucianism and IB education, I was the first Chinese interpreter of the school's philosophy and policies, both externally and internally, such as for the recruitment campaigns, parents' and faculty meetings, as well as for school assemblies.

Meanwhile, as a student services coordinator, I worked closely with students and relevant teachers, especially our dorm teachers to provide administrative and social support, including setting up housing, planning community enrichment events, and helping those that are struggling academically.


Teaching Experience

As a Senior Chinese and TOK teacher in Middle School & DP, I need to conduct the lessons in differentiation level with variety activities like drama, group cooperation to discussion, inquiry, solve the problem, visible thinking to the class.

And also expanded student understanding of texts by spearheading in-depth discussions and assigning exploratory essays to help students articulate knowledge.

Also develop and conduct wellbeing course for DP and boarding students. A daily-base 10 minutes mediation was lead by me.
