In addition, providing some advice to CDC/MoH to strengthen coordination with other departments and prepare for next plan (2023 and beyond) to support provinces, and discussed the vision and modality of local preparedness, especially next year's planning to discover innovative approaches for sub-national focusing local leadership, local ownership and local solutions

Supported the Ministry of Health to strengthen local preparedness to support each sub-national area needs to have its own basic readiness measures in place rather than depend on the central level to be able to deploy a timely and effective response to control COVID-19 outbreaks
Strengthened the capacity of the Ministry of Health for prevention, detection, and control of emerging diseases and for preparedness and response to public health emergencies through providing technical support to the programme to enhance the field epidemiology programme in Cambodia which is one of IHR core capacities for workforce development
