DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage the Staff

· Ensures appropriate staffing consistent with needs and within the constraints of the organization’s physical and financial resources;

· Recruits, selects, orients and develops staff to meet standard performance;

· Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates the Maintenance/Engineering Operations’ work plan; assigns projects and programmatic responsibilities; reviews and evaluates work methods and procedures; meets with staff to identify and resolve problems.

Develop, Plan and Deliver Programs and Services

· Responsible for the short and long term planning and daily operations of the engineering department in order to ensure the overall upkeep and maintenance of the hotel and property;

· Maintains and distributes system of electricity, water, gas, stream etc.;

· Maintains and operates air condition, heater, ventilation and refrigeration system;

· Monitors and coordinates the service performed by outside contractors in accordance to the contract, leases, service agreements and warranties;

· Keeps all record pertaining to heat, light, power and cost of facility while the original document are properly submitted, filed, and recorded;

· Ensures timely response to services request from the guests, employees, and management to repair or replace interior fixtures or furnishing;

· Plans, implements and administrates energy management program;

· Maintains appropriate equipment operating logbook;

· Establishes annual energy reduction objectives;

· Maintains adequate inventory of spare part, tools and supplies;

· Maintains purchasing record, equipment manuals etc.;

· Develops and implements an effective preventive maintenance procedure in accordance with professional engineering practices;

· Trains & supervises subordinates and assist training for all employees on safety & emergency;

· Ensures the development and amendments for all related department’s policies and procedures are kept to date and implemented;

Conducts continuous inspection on the building and ground to ensure the compliance with the relevant fire and safety laws.

· Creating daily work plan and cycle schedule for the team.

· Monitoring and repair of all Special effects Features in the building.

· WOW feature – Diamond Feature & crystal feature.

§ Varilite Philips 3500 and 2500 spot and wash, moving lights preventive maintenance and repair.

§ Color Graze, color Kinetics-ball acclaim, color blaze, strobe lights, LED PAR, installation and programming.

§ NEMO sea changer lights repair and preventive maintenance

· Diamond show and Crystal show monitoring.

§ Beam 200 Troubleshooting, Repair and installation.

§ Monitoring of Artistic Color tramp

§ Rhaon Software speaker amplifier programming

§ Close Circuit Television CCTV and lighting programming.

· BGM (Back Ground Music) – Back ground music indoor and outdoor (not included live stage performance, function rooms, and ballrooms.

· WATER FOUNTAIN show – Show control operation

· EXTERNAL LIGHTING – Tower Façade, Landscape Light, and Podium lighting.

§ Conduct tower façade lights use D3 system and program the hardware system.

§ Installation and troubleshooting of different types of lighting fixture and LED lights.

o LASER SHOW SYSTEM – Searchlight and outdoor laser

§ Knowledge’s in corrective and maintenance of Searchlight Alpha 4000 Watts, 7000Watts, and 8000Watts.

§ Knowledge’s in Laser Fantasy Operation and Maintenance

§ Knowledge in Pangolin Beyond operation and maintenance.

o LED and LCD Screen – Indoor and Outdoor.

§ LED screen monitor preventive maintenance and Installation

o LOGO and SIGNAGE – LED STRIP and RGB LED System.

Heavy Equipment Handled: – Genie GS3246, Genie GR-20, Genie Z-45, Spider FS520C, Spider Hinowa, Spider FS370 and FS290, Bluelift C22, Buggy

Job Description:

· Supervises: A/C Technician, Plant Attendant, Civil Works Technician, Electro-mechanical Technician, FDAS Technician, Reporting: Assistant Chief Engr.

· Strives to do better in implementing best practices and be responsible to carry out operation of building equipment and facilities and its scheduled preventive maintenance program, provision of other building services and schedule and coordination of events and activities.

· Duties and Responsibilities:

o Directs and supervises shift crews in repair and maintenance (after office hours), janitorial, security, and project staff.

o Prepares monthly reports regarding fuel, water, electricity usage, charts and data, equipment and building condition as seen and evaluated by the team he handles, submits and discusses with the chief engineer giving his own suggestions and recommendations for corrections and improvement.

o Periodically inspects the entire building and its provision in conclusion with the Chief Engineer to ensure the safe, continuous and efficient utilities supplies and technical service.

o Confers regularly with the Chief Engineer and bring up technical concerns, holds regular meeting with his staff to evaluate their own operation, thresh out problems and develop solution to the problems.

o Prepares and submits report to the chief Engineer on any incident affecting the continuity operations, causing damages to equipment and facilities.

o Recommended parts and materials requisition to storekeeper.

o Observes and implements, RCBC Plaza rules and regulations.

o Does other job that maybe assigned by his superiors.
