To help fund my studies I had the privilege of taking a gap year that gave me suitable life experience. I took on employment that included admin and managerial functions, coaching gymnastics and giving PE to the grade 1 to 6 learners at Private School Moria.

I also took the time to complete the following courses:

• Level 1 coaching course in gymnastics - tumbling and trampoline (FIG - Internationally accredited)
• First Aid Level 1

• Class representative (2012-2014);
• Head boy at Moria Private School (2015);
• Captain of the First Rugby team (2015);
• Represented Moria Private School at the ATKV Leadership Camp (2013);
• Award for Senior Gymnast of the year by NGF ( Namibian Gymnastics Federation) for three years;
• Part of the Namibian team for Gymnastics from 2004-2014;
• Ranked 13th in the World Gymnastic Championships for Double Mini Trampoline 2013; and
• Ranked 7th at the Pacific Oceans Championships for Double Mini Trampoline 2014.
